the long wait?

I was on IB and assessed for ESA in Dec 2012. A tribunal meeting put me in the WRAG in July 2013. At the end of Aug 2013 my leg gave way, dumping me on the ground and causig considerable pain and swelling. It was obviously going to take a while to sort out with keyhole surgery and recovery so I notified the dwp of a change of circumstances with my health in September. Due to other health problems I can't have surgery yet so my knee is no better yet and is affecting my lower back issues.
As I hadn't heard from Atos or dwp I rang up to ask what was happening to the case. I wish I hadn't bothered telling them about my fall becausedwp said it was with atos, rang them, o it's with the tribunal service. Rang the ts, know nothing about it, not on their system yet. Atos have to assess the paperwork, send the result to dwp to forward it to the ts - and it could take months!
Meanwhile my cont. esa ends this Friday and I get nothing as my husband works and earns just over the limit. We are struggling financially already so the next few(?) months will seriously test my fragile mental health.

Any advice out there?
