Is DSR applicable for business buyers?

I know it's not meant for trade purchases.
But:
1) I bought from the businesses retail site (ordering page says trade customers request a custom quote - I didn't I bought through retail site)
2) I enter a company name on the ordering page
3) Seller aligns their return policy to DSR but makes a few amendments like open packaging not returnable. 7 day no quibble return. Seller also says postage not refundable.

If you were acting in the course of a business when you made the purchase then the DSRs are not applicable to your purchase.Common sense?...There's nothing common about sense!0
