I recently opened a Halifax Youth Expresscard current account for my 14 year old daughter with a Young Savers account which I was told in the bank could be linked.
After receiving the cards we tried viewing the accounts on line and couldn't access the saving account.
I contacted Halifax who told we were given the wrong info.
Is there a youth current account available which we can link with a saving account as my daughter wished to manage her own money.

Thanks I saw this account which is 1% interest compared with 3% for the Young Saver account which we currently have but can't access on line
I was hoping someone knows of another bank/building society which has online access to both a youth current account and a saving account with half decent interest.

I think 1% is pretty much a norm for online access.

Why does the savings account need to be online?

Nice to have, yes. Essential? Not if it costs 2% interest.
