How do you get a refund for faulty goods when you buy through wowcher?

I ordered 2 vouchers from wowcher (£19 each) for snowboots from Urshu in November 2013 then placed the order with Urshu (paying another £5.99 each for P&P).
The boots arrived and appeared fine so were put away for christmas presents for myself and daughter. However, within 2 weeks of wear, my daughter has found that the boots are already falling apart. She says that the inner soles are wearing away causing her feet to be angled and her feet are getting soaked as the seams do not appear to be even remotely water tight.
I believe that these boots contravene trading standards as they are not fit for purpose and definitely do not "...make ideal winter footwear. Warm and often fleece lined they will keep the chill off your feet while keeping them dry in snowy conditions."
How (and who from!) do I claim a refund for these? The way it appears is that wowcher fulfilled their side of it by sending me a voucher by email and all Urshu did was charge P&P (even though it was overpriced!)? Yet I'm £50 down!
Can anyone help?

Go after the retailer. The voucher is 'consideration' for the purposes of the contract - they have sold you goods not fit for purpose or of satisfactory quality.
You would only go after wowcher if they failed to give you the voucher or if their advert was wrong (which arguably it was) but better off going after the shop.0 -
Probably a moot point, but snowy conditions are much drier than slushy or rainy ones.0

I emailed the same complaint to both wowcher and Urshu and within 20 minutes Urshu refunded the £12 P&P which was a pretty clear indication that they know their goods are substandard! I contacted wowcher with this info and in their reply email they asked me to forward proof of this and they would issue a refund. I added photos of the state of the boots to my email and suggested that they disassociate with Urshu since they would ruin wowcher's reputation and was instantly refunded all payments! :jProbably a moot point, but snowy conditions are much drier than slushy or rainy ones.
Valid point there but when you can see daylight through the soles of snow boots after less than 3 weeks, I think your feet might be feeling the cold a bit!
So even though I assumed that I would be fighting a losing battle, I am happy that wowcher refunded without any issues and I didn't even have to waste any money by returning the boots! I guess it's always worth a complaint! :T0
