Dell Purchase Procedure Question

Last week I had a new Dell computer delivered which I had purchased on-line quoting my VISA details.
I'm delighted with the computer but, on checking my on-line credit card statement nothing has been debited yet.
I shall be telephoning Dell later today to query this but, before I do, can you tell me whether they are normally late with their debit of the account? What is the normal procedure? Do they think I am a company with a different arrangement perhaps?
I don't want to end up paying them twice! But I do of course want to pay them (just the once!).
