Paying back student loan too soon

My employer has started paying back my student loan, but I only graduate in April.
I sent them an email asking them to stop until next April, but said I have to phone up the SLC and tell them to send a stop request to my employer....
Does anyone know if I can claim back the student loan I've already paid, or the number I need to phone?
Thank you!

This is the Student Loan Repayment number 0845 073 8891
I'm sure you can reclaim these payments that have been taken in error. I'm really confused as to how the payments were started though, I've never heard of that before. Did you accidentally tick the box on your starter form telling your employer to make deductions?

A similar thing happened to me due to issues with my employers payroll software. As you've been told, you need to call the Student Loans Company who will issue a stop notification to your employer and ask them to refund the deductions that have been taken.
My employer had no idea how to process student loan repayment refunds and insisted they had to come from the Student Loans Company. Fortunately it was shortly after the end of the tax year which allowed Student Loans Company to refund me directly as they had information of my repayments from HMRC. With the new monthly employer reporting to HMRC they may now be able to give refunds directly all the time.0
