Can someone help me with ASOS returns issue??!

Hello,

Long story short- bought about £280 worth of clothes from ASOS. They were delivered, I liked a couple of things but sent the rest back via Royal Mail. The items have no been received by ASOS yet (it has been 7 working days since I posted them off). ASOS do say to wait until 10 working days have passed.

Anyway, i thought id get my proof of postage out anyway, just in case.....issue....cant find it!! Now im FREAKING out! If Royal Mail lose my parcel or ASOS deny receiving it, then im screwed and about have lost about £250!!!

Im so so worried, i cant even sleep properly and im heavily pregnant which isnt helping. I bought the items on my Credit Card, but without proof of postage am I stuffed?

I know I have to wait another 3 days anyway, before contacting ASOS about the returned items, but I cant help but think the worse. Ive never had a parcel go missing or not be delivered but im worrying that im going to be learning a very expensive lesson.

My main worry is, that when i email ASOS, they will ask for the proof of postage and then when i say i dont have it, they wont even bother following up the enquiry, they wont bother to look for it, theyll just see that as a green light to not search for the returns.

Can anyway advise?

Caley

Yes, I fear you will struggle without your proof of postage.

Look at it from ASOS' point of view.

They have a customer claiming to have returned some goods which haven't arrived at ASOS.

Without POP they could be asking themselves whether you have actually returned the stuff or not.

The best advice I can give you is to look harder for that missing piece of paper.

I am pretty sure that using a credit card won't help you either.
Your card issuer would also want some proof that you had returned the goods.
