ANYTHING that you own at the point of the divorce/financial settlement could be a considered an asset of the marriage. So your wife would be entitled to at least 50%. A judge will not accept an unfair settlement.

Do you want to gift that to her?

And as a sideline, if you have savings with which to pay for the deposit, she may be entitled to half of those now.
