There was no contact number on the card and the representative on the live chat was about as much use a chocolate teapot and just said to call debenhams.
Hermes are possibly the worst every courier company - How can they operate without providing a contact number for a customer to call them or an on-line re-booking form. I'm even going to go so far to say that they are worse that another company beginning with Y!
We have had several deliveries from them, and they have been left at our side door while we're out all day, with the risk of getting stolen and/or ruined.
They're not great are they?0 -
had an item 'delivered' by hermes today, to my porch. no item, no card, nothing. neighbours not got it. mysteriously, according to the tracking, the item was collected by the courier and delivered 20 minutes later to my porch, despite the fact I live in a tiny village at least 30 minutes away from any possible 'depot' (which of course you can't check any info about hermes locations on their useless website) and due to location I'm never a priority on the list of deliveries and always get them around 4-5pm.
I highly suspect the driver just didn't bother and nicked the package. Well Amazon's problem now.
Wish I could just avoid using hermes, but most companies don't bother listing their delivery companies.
DPD have been excellent with me, had one the other day, literally GPS tracked it to my front door and opened door before driver could knock0
