Will IKEA negotiate on the cost of a kitchen?

Hello All
In a few weeks I am going into IKEA to order a kitchen. I only want them to supply the parts as I have someone who can fit in.
Is there any point me trying to hammer them down on price considering that I will be spending about £4000? I don't want to look like a complete numpty doing some bargaining if this isn't something IKEA ever enter in to!
If negotiating DOES look like a good idea, does anyone have any tips on how to go about it?
Many thanks
Maureen

I've no experience of negotiating with Ikea, but I do know that they used to give you a £100 gift card for every £1000 you spend on a kitchen.
I also know that the FAKTUM range is being discontinued and replaced with METOD in March - something you may want to check into before making your purchase.
I assume that the gift card promotion (which has been going on for the last year or so at least) was to keep up sales before they got rid of FAKTUM, so that might be helpful if you go ahead with your FAKTUM plans and want to try negotiating.Cashback / Freebie Sites I Use:

The gift card offer ended on Sunday (12th jan) but I don't think it will be too long before there's another deal.
The new range is out 3rd February so am dreading there being a huge sale on Faktum (just ordered mine on Sunday!)0
