Ikea Bedroom furniture

I have finally got to the stage where I can revamp my bedroom which is a rather dull one. It gets the sun in the late afternoon and early evening, the rest of the day it is miserable. I made the mistake of using darking colours three years ago but this week I have painted it in Dulux Light and Space, Morning Light and I am really happy with it.
Anyway, I am going to replace all but the bed and have found some Ikea furniture I like (and a man to build it) but am trying to avoid paying full price which is not that cheap. I have probably missed the sale but am hoping to get some kind of deal - any suggestions welcome.
Anyone had experience of Ikea bedroom furniture? It is likely to have to last for a long time but won't have heavy use.

I've had a lot of experience with Ikea furniture. In general, the more you pay, the better quality it is. If it's put together well it'll survive longer.
The Ikea Family card (free) gives some benefits on specific items and a few other niceties - follow the link for full details.Cashback / Freebie Sites I Use:

That's good to hear. I have just registered to get the Ikea Family card which should help with future purchases. Thanks.0
