P.s anyone got any good kitten games suggestions preferably ones I can make at home, they are very playful and its been a long time since I had kittens.
Shoelaces and bits of string are great fun, you can drag them across the floor for the kitten to chase and pounce on, or swing them in the air for them to jump up at and chew on dementedly. Little bouncy rubber balls can be rolled across the floor for them to chase and are cheap to pick up in toyshops.
My kitten got given a laser pointer for Christmas (I swear he got more presents than I did), it's a special 'cat' pointer so the beam can be changed in to the shape of a mouse or a butterfly, depending on what he wants to chase. It's a brilliant toy for both him and for me, if he wants to play but I'm feeling lazy I can just sit on the sofa and beam it across the room for him to chase with minimal effort!0 -
Tin foil balls and boxes are firm favourites of my two. Also empty cotton bobbins0

Snake is the bigger one, the one lounging on pukkadad who he has totally fallen in love with, pukkadad named him as he has always wanted to shout snake? Snake? Snaaaakkkkeee. Out of the back door.
This will only mean something to metal gear solid fans!
:rotfl: Ah, that brings back memories...0 -
Cardboard boxes, paper bags, tinfoil balls, string. Cats are quite easy to entertain! The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0

I managed to pick up one of these today in morrisons, brilliant they love it, one hides inside and the other runs from end to end trying to get him.
brilliant to watch! XI don't get nearly enough credit for not being a violent psychopath.0 -
Oh my gosh, cuteness overload! One of them has a full-on bromance going with your husband :rotfl:look at the intensity of the kitten's gaze! And he's clearly not fussed about climbing all over him
.
Someone suggested the tin foil balls and box route, I second that recommendation. You just cut holes in the box and then add in some balls made from crumpled-up tinfoil and watch them try to pat the ball through the holes. We also used to just break sticks off of our trees and leave the leaves on the end and swish the sticks around - we used to have hours of fun that way! Aww, I want kittens now0
