Same account, two different default dates!!

Hey guys!
Just a question! I have a default for £1,613 (All paid and settled) from Lloyds which was passed onto Mackenzie Hall.
The default date for Lloyds was 04/06/2008 and the default date for Cabot Financial (Uk) LTD was 15/04/2009. Is this correct? - can the collection company had a different default date?. Please note, no payment arrangement was set up until 2012, when I cleared the balance over 16 months. and is marked as Satisfied and not Settled, would that make any difference?
Also, I paid Mackenzie Hall, but the default was registered by Cabot Financial (Uk) LTD
Be grateful for some help, thank you!

No it is not correct.
The default date should remain as the original default date. You would need to write to cabot to say that the default date on your credit file is not the same as the date lloyds used and that as they are obliged to use the original date you require them to correct it to 04/06/2008.
Then it will fall off your credit file in June this year.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
I had a inkling this wouldn't be correct!. Could I ask all CRAs to contact them on my behalf?0

You also checked Equifax and Experian?
You will likely need to complain to the company you paid, as CRAs are not great at getting these changed...:beer:0 -
Please send us details so we can investigate for you.
Thanks
