Offering discounts (not p&p) on ebay.

Hi,
I have noticed recently a few listings showing "special offers" of save 10% when purchasing more then 5 items or spending more then £25 etc. and was wondering how this was done.
I know they have shops and was wondering if it was a certain level of shop.
These sellers offer free posting so it is a way to increase multiple purchases.

As far as I'm aware:
all shops can offer postage discounts (free/discounted postage over a certain amount, or certain items).
featured shops and over have access to the discount manager (or whatever it's called) where items can be discounted over a certain amount.
I have a featured shop and offer free postage when £10 is spent, and a 5% discount when 5 or more items is selected. I think I've seen an increase in multiple purchases since implementing it, and I certainly feel like I've had an update in people using the basket rather than paying for multiple items separately.0 -
Thank you, that has answered my question fully.
I thought it may be a featured shop but not sure and could not find the answer anywhere on ebay.
I am glad it has improved your sales hope they continue to improve in the future.0 -
Shame basic shops can't discount, it would improve sales so don't know why.0
