Microsoft Money

Options
I have just purchased Microsoft Money 2005 from Amazon to enable me to download my Bank statements. On loading I was dismayed to find that this feature is only available for two years or until Sept 07. This means that I can only use for 3 months. Contacted Amazon, they refer me to Microsoft, but got lost in their procedures to make contact. I understand that the 2007 is not yet available in UK, so that anybody purchasing after initial launch only gets a limited or in my case a very limited use of its internet features. Can anybody advise if I am correct and what I should do

Money is no longer supported in the UK Due to legal implications.

I too have bought Money recently and do like it. Im just downloading my statements manually as halifax allows you to download in money format....

Once i've done a few statements I'll start putting in everything myself manually as half way through the omnth last months statement isn't very up to date :p

Its still a very good piece of software heh. And I assume it will work after Sep 07, maybe just no support?

As other poster said it will not be supported.

However it will still download statements, I have Money 2002 & it is fine

IMO you would be better to enter manually once you have the initial downloads, the idea being to check your statement against the banks version of it

If you just download the bank's one into money you may not spot the extra £20 taken out by a scallywag for instance, or the subscription DD you thought you had cancelled last year

PS - it will also continue to download share prices etc

  • Farway, ye I'm planing on uploading my bank statement in a few days then putting in everything manually.

I'm a bit worried in case I forget or am ill for a few days as it would take ages to put stuff in but hey...

Looking forward to actually seeing my money for a cahnge ;P
