Frozen car lock

Heat the key blade up with a fag lighter before you put it in the door.
Get some graphite lock lube (couple of quid from Maplin, other places probably sell it), it's better than WD because gunk doesn't get stuck to it. Blast some in the lock ever few months.
Spray some aerosol silicon (or cheap furniture polish) onto your door rubbers to stop the door getting stuck to them if moisture creeps in there and freezes.
Does the boot have a keyhole? Maybe open that, drop your seats, and take an unorthodox means of entry.Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?
