in Credit cards
Is this correct - my credit card balance in December was £11,557 my required payment due was paid by DD I also paid in other payments totalling over £8,500 so I could use the card for larger purchases After I had paid each deposit I made a purchase which should of left me with a balance of less than £12,000 to be paid in January
But Natwest have put a late payment fee of £12 plus £472 intrest

Is it a late payment fee or an over limit fee?0

what are you asking is correct? the late payment charge or the interest charged?0

I would guess you spent on the card before payments had cleared or interest of £472 took you over your limit -so £12 overlimit charge
£472 on 12000 is around 47% a year - that sounds high for a prime card.CHALLENGES MAR'14:
