don't think you can advertise on right move directly, you need to use an agent who advertises with them

I use an Estate Agent based in Leeds called Aireside. They use all the major websites
Enquiries initially go to them, then they e mail the contact details for you to follow up.
Never had a problem with them and the potential tenants are of a good standard. Initial cost was about £60 + vat, then got a voucher for £30 off next listing.
Gumtree has always been a disaster for me.
    Good luck.

With the market as it is at the moment especially January you should not need to pay anyone .

    Firstly put a board up
Spend maybe £20 to put an ad in your local paper
Put a card n the supermarket
Advertise free on gumtree and private landlord directory.com
Go onto Facebook type in landlord groups ,advertise free on your nearest local one.

I don't think you will have a problem ,I never do.

Put it on gumtree and you'll get some spam replies offering you a very cheap way of getting on rightmove.
  • It's easy to advertise on Right move, Zoopla etc....

Try any number of online agents eg UPAD....

Take care over description & photos - or accept the consequences such as few applications, low price...

I wouldn't rule out Gumtree, especially if you're in an area with high demand. I found my current place and previous-but-one place on Gumtree. Both direct with the landlord, so no agency fees to worry about.
Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks
On a rotating plate, with spikes like Flash Gordon
And you're Peter Duncan; I gave you fair warning
