Tears because of NPower!!! :-(
I am fuming!!!
Npower have taken £198 by DD. My normal DD is £46.
This is because my account has been in credit for over a year. My online Npower now says I am £398 in credit!!!!
I have emailed NPower and my bank.
What else can I do please? Any advice appreciated.
I am so stressed. I have no money in January and not paid until the 31st. Every penny is accounted for and now I have to find £200 to cover my council tax and bank charges.
Cross, overdrawn in an account with no overdraft, notification of charges from HSBC alerted me to this.... que tears!!! :-(

Get the direct debit reversed by your bank and make a _formal_ complaint to Npower.0

If you telephone the bank the money will be paid back immediately. Email messaging your bank is unlikely to be processed.0

the direct debit guarantee covers this.....
they have to give notice before the amount to be taken is changedWe’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

If it is the 1st time that you have been over drawn I would ask the bank if they could refund any charges due to Npower.
Speak to Npower - make sure you take any names of people that you have spoken to, any calls should show up on your phone bill, and explain to Npower the additional charges you have icurred.
Hope you get it sorted, xxxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
