If you have avast antivirus do you turn on avast firewall and turn off windows firewall or do you turn on both, some people say they work together and some people say they dont looking at 2013 posts on the internet.

When you activate Avast firewall the Windows firewall will most likely turn off. You can run both but its a waste of resources and there can be conflicts.0

Does the windows firewall need updating sometimes , only I normally have windows update turned off and update every 3 months or does the windows firewall update on its own.Let them eat cake (Marie Antoinette 1765)0

Firewalls don't need updating. They may occasionally need some bug fixing or for you to allow some program or other through which was blocked by default but that's about that.0
