in Credit cards
Hello all,
I was recently compensated by British Airways for a rescheduled flight back to Canada from London. They gave me this money in the form of a credit card, and I'm wondering if anyone here knows a way to transfer it to a UK bank account (I bank with santander) or paypal. I realise I am cutting a corner by posting here; I live in Canada and ringing the Santander is expensive and irritating! Hope someone can suggest some options.
Thank you in advance

silly question perhaps, but can you not use it as payment (or part-payment) for something? Physically or online...0

Why can you not buy something with it?
Someone gave me a £25 Visa gift card last year and the issue I had was finding something worth exactly £25, so I bought an Amazon voucher because I'm regularly buying from Amazon.0 -
I guess it's a prepaid card, not a credit card - if this makes any difference.0

Hi,
I suppose I had thought to put it in my bank account because it is £550. It also has a 3 month expiry on it, frustratingly. I could use it just like my debit card, but because I am in Canada it's likely that there will be some charge. I haven't checked that though. Buying an Amazon card would be a good idea, although I imagine they have a year expiry...
Thanks for the advice0
