Changing names on £9.50 Sun holiday

I booked a holiday this morning and have realised the names I included on the booking can't make those dates (my 4th choice was confirmed).
I have read the small print and understand changes can't be made; presumably the holiday park wouldn't be too bothered if my mum and sister went instead as it's all paid up now? Or could I try calling the centre direct in a couple of weeks to get it changed?
TIA
xDx

If it is a uk break than anyone can go on it taking with them your booking confirmation - however you the named booker would be liable if they had a wild party and damaged the caravan....
so if you sell a holiday it would be best to only sell to people you trust....
if it is booked in your name - your mum or sister going and handing in the confirmation and getting the keys should not pose any problems...as long as they dont wreck the caravan;)

I went to have in oct and I forgot to take the confirmation with me. the guy on the desk asked me questions about my booking my name, other passenger names ext. I forgot who I put who was coming with me as it could be one of four friends and I got it totally wrong and kept naming names until I got it right. I was laughing at the time. moral of this story is either know the names you booked or take a confirmation with you to save embarrassment. The park had no problem thou xx0

I second this. Do be careful who you sell the holiday to. Any damages or trouble will be your responsibility.
However, The park might want to see additional I.D such as a utility bill or drivers license. I've been on 6 holidays and not once have I had to give any other information. The only thing they need ideally is a printout of the booking paid in full and Name it's booked under. Obviously if it's a female name then female turn up at reception.0 -
I've been on quite a few holidays and never been asked for ID, just had to show the booking confirmation letter.0

I have been on dozens of these and never been asked for ID - just asked for the print out of the booking confirmation
I know Butlins say to take ID if you are or look under 21 (unfortunately i don't)
I dont think they can realistically just spring it on you to provide ID on the day as i would not have anything with me ie i don't have a driving licence and i dont carry utility bills around with me....

I was supposed to be going with my boyfriend and son, but no boyf can't come. Would i be able to leave my female mate and her son in the car or should i ring the holiday park and beg and plead? thanksSealed Pot Challenge 7 (2014) #1851
