Accepted for loan, but not credit card

Hi there, in the last 12 months, I have been accepted for a bank loan of £3000 & £5000 with my bank, which I never took out, I got finance elsewhere, I have also been accepted for a business credit card, but on applying twice for a personal credit card, have been declined twice, any suggestions why? Thanks

I have only made 6, 7 searches in last 12 months, hp finance & 2 credit cards that were successful & two loans that were successful, but never took out, just thought it was strange they accept me for 2 loans & a business credit card, but decline me for a personal twice

Thats it, I give up with this forum, it is an absolute waste of time, theres two many people who sit at there phones or laptops making pedantic remarks, comments like the one above, Thats funny! What is 7 searches, have you seen some peoples credit searches, this myth that it is a crime to apply to lenders. THEY WANT YOU TO APPLY do you not get it, Ive had this argument before, I earn 6 figures a year, although I am not wealthy, & you have clowns on here trying to give you sarcastic & pedantic remarks, you,s really are clueless, IM OUT!!! Nobody, from what I can see, has been rude.

I have 2 searches this year (car insurance, home insurance), and there is a recommended limit of 2 per 6 months for new credit.

For a start, its none of your business, what I do, & it is not off topic, if people on here are going to be pedantic & facetious, then its not a proper forum.

And as for being thick, I know several millionaires who have the mental age of 14.

Thats another myth, you have to be intelligent to be wealthy, stuck in the dark ages!!!!

Business credit cards were potentially backed by the business and so doesnt go purely on your personal ratings.

Loans generally are lower risk than overdrafts or credit cards because it is a fixed amount for a fixed duration where as the others are revolving limits so you can max out, or even go above the maximum, and leave it there for a long time.
