So site is closing at the end of April.

This was predertimened before the end of the consultation (necessary as there are in excess of 50 people being made redundant).

A role was advertised on the intranet as not being in the uk, this was given to someone based here in the uk HR were spoken to about this and it was stated it was an oversight and they would ensure it didnt happen again.

This morning the same thing has happened again (this time job not advertised)

Hacked off unsure of whether I have any come back.

What comeback do you think you may have and why?

Job was not made available to all within the selection pool.
I want to use it as leverage to ensure my redundancy is paid when I leave early.

Possible unfair dismissal - not just me affected there are 7 other people in that pool here and another site potentially.

Were those in the selection pool all suitable for the new job?

If you choose to leave early then your redundancy amount may be affected.

Re unfair dismissal have you a Union at work or try contacting ACAS?

ACAS is next.

Yes they were same skill set. In fact one of them (not me) would have been more suitable as they have much more experience in Analysis

As I said leverage so I get most if not all paid despite leaving early if I do (interview on Friday waiting for date for another one this week)

Not sure what "leverage" you intend to use but you could end up delaying your payment if the issue goes into some sort of dispute which I assume would be the wrong outcome.

Look up counternotice.

If not happy with the jobs going to other people because you think there should have been a selection pool as it was a potentialy suitable alternative put in a grievence.
