Some website don't show up when I go on them ! please help

I have a few websites such as the forums on xbox.com and when I click on them I get a blank page or a bit of a page then it says done and no more loads. I worked out that when I turn off my virus software (Norton Internet Security) it comes up fine I then have to turn it on again. Does anyone know why this happens or more importantly how I sort it out

I suspect you have the privacy or ad blocking turned on. Then when you load the page you only get to see that part of the page that is deemed safe. I have had this problem in the past when competition pages, where the competition was blocked since it was classed as an advert.

The issue is not with Norton Anti-Virus or Personal Firewall; you do not need to change these. Unfortunatley I can't quite remember which option you need, but look for privacy and ad blocking items.
