With Fidelity it costs me nothing to switch holdings unless there is a spread quoted in a particular fund......

I thought Fidelity charged a 0.25% fee for switching funds? I may be wrong but does that include rebalancing the portfolio?0 -

Fidelity have free transfer of funds. I think this has only recently been brought in, previously many funds were free transfer but I dont think all. However in parallel with this they have brought in annual fees for accounts which used to be free. Fidelity will only carry out the transactions you ask them to do - eg transfer £10K of fund x to fund y. It is up to you to work out what you want transfered to meet your rebalancing criteria.0
