Hi I recently bought a house and have had complete renovation done to it but I have had condensation problems, I have tried everything, drying my clothes outside, even taken them to laundry for drying now, leave windows open for so long that I am freezing in the house at times, infact I leave the bathroom window open all…

It didn't start because the RH was below 50%. This is what the humidistat does. Think of it like a thermostat for humidity, instead of heat.

You should aim for 50-55% as anything below that will start to cause other respiratory problems associated with overly dry air.
