Personal injury lawyer

I had an accident at a shopping centre recently where I slipped from an escalator that was outside and not covered and was still operating in the pouring rain

I have had hand back and shoulder injuries since and am going to have an X-ray this week 2 weeks after the accident

I reported the complaint on the day and sought first aid as hand and foot were bleeding

If I want to seek compensation for this does anyone know any good personal injury lawyers there are so many out there I don't know where to start

I don't know how long my symptoms from the injury will last and it is affecting my life - also it was sheer incompetence from the facility manager to have a metal escalator in the rain and I want to ensure this doesn't happen to someone else

Any advice on where to find a good no win no fee lawyer would help

I would just try and find someone local if I was you.

ps You do realise that some escalators are capable of being operated outdoors.

Why not add the shoe manufacturer, as the shoe did not have grip. Get a life mate, going to sue for some trivial matter.
Injury compensations to the most deserving and not for the daft.

  • What area of the country do you live in? Having worked in this area for a while I'm sure I could put you in touch with someone, should you still wish to pursue it.

Beware accepting recommendation (or giving any personal details) from a brand new poster/ambulance chaser who has joined MSE purely to get the opportunity to ambulance chase you and "put you in touch"

Check your home insurance to see if you have Legal Expenses/Protection on it, if you do they will deal with any claims they feel are viable.
  • It's probably a waste of money. There is no obvious negligence here, clearly the escalator will have been there for years and will have been designed for outdoor use in the rain. You were just unlucky, but it was your own fault and if you pay a solicitor they will either tell you that or waste more of your money trying to sue the shopping centre's owners.

Not a recommendation for this particular firm, just a random example to show that it's quite possible that you might be ale to claim compensation for this type of accident.

There is no negligence. Take responsibility
