Sky Hub-setting time restrictions

I'm after some help to set time restrictions on a new Sky Hub.
On my old BT router I was able to set time where devices could not access the broadband but now I have the new Sky hub.
I know how to access the router but can't find a way to set time limits to devices.
I watched a video showing how to copy Mac addresses but after reading a forum post, I understand that when the router is reset the 'device gets a new Mac address. So the restriction won't work if his device gets a new mac address?
Or something like that?
Then I get confused. I went to set the schedule but it said set a firewall rule, I did this, set the schedule and immediately had problems connecting.
Do you set the schedule for ALLOW or BLOCK???
