    I have used my cahoot credit card for 'interest-free period' balance transfers - eeking out an extra month here and there on the 46 days maximum between statement date and collection date because they don't charge a fee and treat such a transaction in the same way as a purchase. But this has to be requested by post - so much for an 'internet bank'!

    (Did I say their website makes Egg's look modern, too?)
