You didn't drain the fuel?:( A minute on youtube and you could have retrieved a chunk of that fuel.

I was thnking about that aswell, did you 'trade in' the old one with the petrol in it ?
or have you still got it sitting around somewhere? If so theres money to be had.

Little update. We no longer have the high-interest 2 x Cap 1's and the B/card. My partner managed to get a 0% balance transfer and we transferred all the credit card debt over (£1300 worth).

We're saving £20 a week on fuel and have canx our RAC membership as we have free breakdown cover. The car insurance is also £8 per month cheaper.

My elder cat's insurance renewal came through and they wanted £36 per month. I canx it and managed to find one for £7 per month (but if anything happens to him we have to foot 10% of the bill).

Instead of having a cut and colour, which would normally cost £50, I only had a hair cut for £22. There's no need to have my roots done every few weeks.

I got given some overtime at work and it's going towards my Next bill.

The car: We were going to siphon the petrol, however my friend who's a nurse in intensive car informed me that it wasn't worth doing as he's seen too many burns so we just scrapped it and got £100.

    Little steps.

With the car, is it financed on a deal where you pay a lump sum at the end of three years (or another time period)? Don't forget to factor the lump sum in if it is.

We have the option to pay a balloon of 4k after 3 years or swap it for a new car. We'll probably get another car considering my partner's mileage.

How can debts be prioritised without a DMP? If you choose to pay off the debt with the most interest first what happens to the rest? Do you just ignore them or continue by paying a token amount?
