For some reason when I click on the smilies they don't add. This only a recent problem and the "disable smilies" box is UN ticked ??

I think it is an Internet Explorer problem? Are you using IE 11? I noticed when it was updated last month I could not use some of the features on the board, like adding a hyperlink or smiles. I still cannot add hyperlinks, but to add smiles just right click on the one you one and 'copy' then 'paste' where you want to put it! Works for me!0

Yes, IE11 has known problems with the forum software that runs here. Firefox, Chrome or most other alternative browsers work.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

For those having problems with IE 11 enable compatibility mode. It's in the tools menu somewhere and you can toggle it for all pages. I work in IT and it seems just about nothing works on it without compatibility mode ON.Oh, you wee bazza!0

Does that work now? I tried that a few weeks ago on IE11, and it made no difference at all on these forums. Then again, that was in a VM, so could have been some IE updates to fix CM since I tried.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

I hold my hands up and admit I didn't personally test it before posting that. I don't have IE 11 on here but you wouldn't believe what I've seen @ work, and putting compatibility mode on has fixed a whole host of bizarre problems, so I reckoned it was worth a shot here.Oh, you wee bazza!0
