BT Broadband

I have recently connected to BT Broadband and have a Home Hub 4 - the broadband is working fairly well except if someone is speaking on the phone in the other room the broadband gets knock off.

Why is this?

How can I solve it?

I thought with broadband you can use the internet, use the phone and even fax all at the same time on the same line.

Many reasons for your problem .
Wrongly connected is one but usual is no filters or bad filters .
Broadband is split data and phone filters are required as per your BT instructions to filter out phone noise .

Thank you I think I might now know the problem - I have a filter on the Home Hub but not on the phone
