I have received pcn reminder from tnc parking services wanting £114,please note this 3 months plus after date of alleged offence, am I to late to appeal this even though I know they will continue anyway but if it gets to court at least I could say I tried to establish dialogue with them. I have no intention of paying this extortionate invoice and any advice will be greatly apprieciated

I got a fake pcn September last year from jas parking and following outdated advice decided to ignore, now over 3 months later I have received pcn reminder from tnc parking services wanting £114, am I to late to appeal this even though I know they will continue anyway but if it gets to court at least I could say I tried to establish dialogue with them. I would search the forum for 'Staples' using the 'search this forum' facility next to 'forum tools' above that sticky thread you need to read first. Loads of cases about this lot and the TNC letter is the first one so you need to treat it like the NTK (see the Newbies thread because that means sending a robust appeal to TNC and to JAS and probably complaining to the BPA as well). DO NOT IMPLY WHO WAS DRIVING.

You could also find forum results from recent weeks, just by Googling 'JAS parking Staples'.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • thanks for the input, have sent to letters out one to each of them, though was unaware you can get at free proof of postage from the post office. so I may need to resend them will see how it goes.

am seeking advice on one point tho as it is well outside of the 28 days they give you to appeal, do they have to give me a popla code?

    feedback as always greatly appreciated

No because you were appealing as keeper, to the first letter you had. YOU APPEALED IN TIME AS KEEPER. The driver had 28 days but you aren't telling them anything about the driver of course are you?

Hope you read all the other cases by now. These are always the same, always Staples, always for 'leaving the site' and so far, always have to be complained about by the motorist, to the BPA. So you need to read the other threads so you are ready for the simple email complaint you'll need to do when these chancers try to fob you off. In the end you should get a POPLA code out of JAS and then you'll need to do a winning appeal (which will not be about whether the driver left the site, as you will have seen from the 'How to win at POPLA' link in the thread linked by Redx).

  • Hi again, i now.have sent off 2 letters to jas and one to tnc had no reply from jas so emailed them today. Have received the threatning letter from tnc, who are sayin i.kust appeal the pnc to them so it looks like they have ignored letter. Am i correct in believing that i should wait for a reply from jas or is it worth sending another appeal to tnc. Thanks in advance

Above your post I had already pointed you to what to do next and it didn't involve writing any more appeals, nor writing to JAS nor TNC:
So you need to read the other threads so you are ready for the simple email complaint you'll need to do when these chancers try to fob you off.
Please learn from the other threads which have covered this ground already and show you who to complain to at the BPA. Obviously do NOT mention the windscreen PCN, nor start it by dropping into the email who was driving...it really is already on other JAS threads.
