Just wondering **when** MSE are going have a red button on the home page?

I (and the rest of the world) now get "notifications" to let us know whats going on in our personal bubble
I (and the rest of the world) can receive these by phone text, email or just a little red button on home page
Personally, if I visit the home page regularly (can see the red button) I switch off email and text alerts and just click the red button to see if there's anything interesting
Question
Just wondering **when** MSE are going have a red button on the home page?
Then I dont need to bother surfing through 376829378297138920718937281903 million emails to find replys....yaaaaaawn
I say "When" because it "will" happen - just wondering whether its sooner or later

PS = It dont matter whether you reply or not because chances are, I cant be bothered to find this page ever again (or until MSE have red button) - my life is just too short for that

The problem with red buttons is that they tend to get connected to nuclear weapons

The last time a Red Button was sighted at MSE Towers the bomb squad was called in to defuse it.

I don't bother with text or email; I just subscribe to threads that interest me and click on User CP to see what's been added.

Your subscriptions must be old news by now. Get over it and move on. Nobody is making you come on here 3 times in 6 months. :rotfl:

Another forum I use has a useful feature, it has a notifications banner that appears at the top of the screen letting you know if someone has quoted one of your posts. I like that.

Of course - all forums will have to have a red button soon - just wondering how long it will take MSE
