I checked my credit report via Equifax, my EE account is showing a linked address of somewhere I have never lived its in a town over 40 miles away that i've never been near to.
There is no dispute that the account is mine as it is but how can it be showing as a different address, has EE input something incorrect? The address detail was fine 6 month ago so its only recently that this new linked address has shown up.
I'm sending a letter off to EE to ask them to correct it as Equifax have already been in contact with EE who say the information is correct.

I've done that already as per my original post, next step is the letter to EE as they have told the credit reference places that the information is correct.
Was just wondering if it's a regular occurrence that companies send in the wrong information? Wouldn't mind but the bill is still at the correct address0 -
Spoken to Orange on this one and they state I rung them in October to say I had moved address, I've told them thats not true and I want them to investigate how this happened.
They have just changed my account back to the correct address, I'm going to follow this up with a letter to the Fraud team to make sure its all on file as I don't quite trust the telephone operator to log it correctly considering he barely understood the English language.
My credit file isn't showing anything else unusual at all, I will be checking my Orange bill more often as the online statements do show the wrong address from September 2013, I never check them as the amount is always the same but will do in future0
