Parking Help!!- Camden

Hello,
I am looking for some advice please and have contacted citizens advice but got no help.
I live in a Camden Council area and use on street parking. I don't use my car very often.
At the start of January, I parked the car at night. Unfortunately my front wheel was over the line and therefore my car was a bit outside the box. I didn't notice. I saw no parking tickets on the car or would have moved it immediately. I was not blocking anyone in. 90% of my car was In the box.
I came back from Christmas on 6th January with a parking ticket by post (£80). The date of the offence is the start of Jan. Every day this week I've gotten another parking ticket by post (I have 7 so far and they are arriving daily)
I haven't seen any tickets or I would have moved the car. I cannot pay 30+ plus parking at £80 a day.
In my distress this week I queued at my citizens advice who told me they were sorry and that I would need to pay (£3000!).
I wrote a letter (template from MSE) challenging tickets (4 at the time) but they are arriving daily and I wont be able to catch up ad challenge them all at once when I need to respond in 28 days.
I'm at my wits end and cannot sleep. I googled legal aid but it doesn't seem to cover parking fines
Please help Money saving experts!

Oh dear. I take it these are council issued tickets. They are quite different from the Private Parking Company scams.
I'm aware that some parking bays are not marked out correctly in that they are the wrong dimensions and end bays etc are often not painted correctly. So take some bay measurements and have a good look at the bay marking guideance. I'd strongly recommend that you take a look at
https://www.pepipoo.com
That site deals with the council penalty notices in great detail.
Good luck with it.0 -
Haven't seen you post there on pepipoo yet, please do urgently start a topic with the sort of info you will read in other threads, have a look also at a number of threads first, to see what pictures they will need (at the very least, scan/photo the front & back of the first PCN and put that in your first post here):
http://forums.pepipoo.com/index.php?showforum=30
That forum will save you money. YOU MUST APPEAL! But with help from that forum. This can be clawed back to normality with pepipoo help I am sure.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
