ngp parking fine in Cardiff...why?? Parked my vespa where I have parked it for years

I have just came home from work and am shocked and angry to find a threatening letter from this dirty lot. A £60 threat that will rise to £100 in 2 weeks if not paid. For parking on pavement. I have done this since the store opened some 5* years ago!!!

Since the Leckwith Asda opened it has no motorcycle parking area and everyone on 2 wheels has parked at the same area near the entrance since then so as not to take up a full car parking space.

Any advice please as the threads here are confusing me sorry...Lots saying the law changed so any help welcome...feel like complaning to the store but lots of posts saying total ignorance of their threats is best...

Appeal it and win at POPLA of course, same as everyone else. The linked thread above tells you how.
feel like complaning to the store
Yes, as you will have read about in the 'Successful Complaints about PPCs' sticky thread I hope. HUNDREDS of examples there!

but lots of posts saying total ignorance of their threats is best
None for almost a YEAR, except for cases in Scotland/NI! Have you made the classic mistake of only doing random searches for NGP cases and then not noticing the thread is old? Stop searching and start reading the sticky info threads at the top, that is what they are there for.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
