I'm trying to log into my BM savings accounts but every time I click on 'log in' the AA internet savings log in page appears. Its never done this before.

I know the two are linked (Bank of Scotland) but surely this shouldn't be happening.

BM use AA as an affiliate brand - so AA savings accounts are really BM accounts.

What happens if you try to log into that page using your BM login details?

I do remember something similar happening to me before, IIRC I did as opinions4u suggests in above post and it sorted it out, give it a go hopefully it will work for you too.

edit: Ive just tried the 'Log in' button in the top right hand corner on the BM homepage and it took me through to the normal BM login page ok.

It appears to be cookies associated with www.esavingsaccount.co.uk
If you get rid of that folder in your cookie directory it should all be ok.

BMs cookie policy is shown here:- http://www.bmsavings.co.uk/cookie-policy/
I suspect it is just the Hx "brand identifier" cookie that needs deleting.
  • Frist thing I tried was deleting the cookies but it still took me back there. I entered my details and then it asked me for an access code as I was logging in for the first time! Not true for BM but true for AA where I don't have an account.

Today it is working ok i.e. it's BM log in page as opposed to AA but it says I'm locked out because I have made 3 consecutive incorrect attempts so I have to ring them tomorrow.
