Halifax ISA Saver Fixed - maturity

Hello

I have received a Halifax maturity notice, for a 2 year fixed ISA

The options given are;
  1. move to ISA Saver Fixed (poor rates)
  2. move to a savings account (lose ISA status)
  3. withdraw (lose ISA status)
If they don't hear 5 days before maturity then the money is transfered to ISA Saver Variable @ 0.5% without bonus

I don't want to carry out any of the above, so the only option seems to be to allow auto enrolment with the saver variable, and then transfer out to my preferred provider

But I don't want to lose any interest, the wording is unclear, and I lost out on a termination bonus last year on a different product, so I have some concerns

Just wondered whether anyone had any previous experience, or knows the rules ?

There is also mention of the capital being treated separately from the interest earned which I haven't experienced before with ISA's

Thanks
Dill
