Child Tax credits, overestimated income for 2012-2013...

Hi All
As my DH is self employed I overestimated what we would earn so not to have an overpayment we'd need to paid back. (I'm employed PAYE).
I estimated that we'd earn £22,500 but we've likely only to have earned £18,000 just having DH accounts confirmed at the accounts.
In our estimated awards notice we have a potential payment of £148
is this amount likely to be higher as we've overestimated by £4,500?
Kind regards
TB

thanks for the quick reply blondebubbles, I forgot about the disregard bit.0

But the disregard applies to the difference between 2011/12 and 2012/13 income, not the difference between the OP's estimate and actual for 12/13blondebubbles wrote: »There is a £2500 disregard for a decrease in income so they will only take into account that you had a £2000 decrease in income.
OP - what was your 2011/12 income?0
