Whilst Barclaycard may have been at fault, I'm afraid that the FACT is that you have admitted allowing payments amounting to many thousands of pounds to be taken without asking why.
That really does make you look rather foolish.0 -

The Fact is that it was not hidden.
This thread was created by someone asking about hidden PPI. Your responses have nothing to do with this thread subject. Your answer in post #4 suggested that because your complaint had been part paid out, then that makes it hidden. That is wrong conclusion and not factual because we know that Barclaycard show PPI as a transaction on statements.
Not reading your statements and racking up £24,000 worth over the years is not a complaint reason in itself. If your complaint succeeds, it will be on a different issue and not because it was hidden.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -

Why did you pay many thousands of pounds "extra", but never check your statements?
Why are you trying to perpetuate this dialogue with Brown1950 when you acknowledge her posts are nothing to do with the thread subject and consider the initial poster's question answered?0 -

Nope they didn't mean that.
Straightforward question wanting a straightforward answer. Sorry it was open to misinterpretation or misunderstanding.
However it's always wise to be aware of DNFTT on the forum:D0 -
