Have an inheritance of around 70k of Australian $ - they are in a probate account in Australia.
Echange rate not good and would like to keep as $ until $ rises - lots of commodities that Australia has that will fuel world rise in economy, I think.
Any advice how to hold them because at moment not in 'my' account.

The AUD has a high positive correlation to the price of gold, so any predicted strengthening in the AUD will result from an appreciation in the price of gold.
I assume you intend to exchange for GBP? If so not a great time since GBP is a strong currency at present.
You might want to sell your AUD in two or three tranches, looking for AUD strength or GBP weakness when it arises and then doing the deals. With two or three tranches you should smooth out the net amount of GBP as a result and not be dependent on one exchanged deal at a potentially duff rate.0
