Wardrobe/chest of drawers recommendations?

Hi,
both my children's large chests of drawers have fallen apart and now look like they are vomiting clothes everywhere!! I am in desperate need of some decent long lasting storage for their bedrooms now. I had set my heart on the Stuva wardrobes from Ikea but at £140 each and then £35 to deliver it would cost over £300. Has anybody got any recommendations?
Thanks

Have you looked on eBay? Occasionally you might find something on there. It's really easy to default to cynicism these days, since you are almost always certain to be right.0

We bought some from Homebase and were quite surprised at the quality.. but when it comes to flat packed furniture I find you get what you pay for and to get something pretty decent that won't fall apart you have to pay a bit more.. you could go along and look as they have it on display at Homebase that way you could at least see what the quality is like#6 of the SKI-ers Club :j

Go to a secondhand furniture shop where you can pick up very strong wooden wardbrobes or chest of drawers , you can always paint them up to match the bedrooms..........
You have to steer clear of DIY sheds , they dont have good quality , usually its chipboard and MDF crap , and they always fall to bits.........Well thats my opinion .........0
