I'm ditching my Iphone and switching to Motorola Moto G. Is there an easy way to get my contacts transferred over to Android?
Or do Apple disallow that too?

A sim card can take only the basic information and not a lot.
I think you can just create a google account and sinc your iPhone with it.
Google for, say "iphone sync with google".0 -
Install an app called MCBackup on the iPhone , email your contacts to yourself as a csv file , then import into new phoneEx forum ambassador

Just sync with your PC (e.g. Outlook) as usual and when you get your new phone, sync it with your PC.0
