    It may have changed in recent years but it wasnt a "personal" copy, it was an extension of your employers copy but intended for personal home use.

    In the T&Cs was the requirement that you remove it if you cease to be employed by the employer that you obtained it through however this isnt/wasnt enforced at all.

    As said, may have changed but it was when I first got office 2007 through it and didnt bother checking when upgrading to 2010 and 2011 (mac)
