Denon RCD-M35DAB cd/tuner.

I have a Denon RCD-M35DAB cd/tuner.

When I set the presets for my preferred stations, all is well if I switch off and leave the unit on standby, if I go on holiday and switch off at the mains I loose the lot, which is a pain, I would have thought it should have a battery to keep such things in the memory!

Is there anything I can do to overcome this, or just live with it.

Thanks.

Leave it on standby when you go on holiday is all you can do, sorry. This might be a bit old fashioned these days and lots of devices will remember things when turned off at the mains, but the good news is that since it's pretty new it'll use a tiny amount of power when on standby.
  • According to the documents it consumes 0.3w in standy so at Powergen's standard tariff without discounts it costs less than half a pence a month to sit in standby

Really up to you to decide if 0.15p for a two week holiday is worth the hassle of not having to reprogramme it or not
