consultation period about to start and i'm pregnant

We are due to start our 30 day consultation period at work on Monday prior to restructure, which I know is going to be stressful for everyone for me I have the added stress of being pregnant so really don't want to lose my job at this time.
I am expecting and due on 29th April my plan was to start my maternity leave on that date taking the 3 weeks off prior as annual leave, however now I fear if I don't get my job in the restructure all my plans in relation to what money I have go out of the window and I would only be entitled to SMP and not the additional that our company give is.
Our redundancy policy states the following about redundnacy whilst on maternity.
"where an employee is made redundant while on maternity leave she retains the right to return to work and must be informed of suitable vacancies during the maternity leave period. In employment law, redundancy before a return to work is automatically unfair dismissal. It is therefore suggested that where retundancies occur during maternity leave termination is suspended until such time as the return to work date at which time the personst again be offered suitable vacancies before redundancy is confirmed"
What I am wondering is if I was to bring my maternity start date forward and if I don't get my job but my maternity was due to start within the 30 day notice of redundancy period would they then have to wait until the end of my maternity until this kicks in?
I suspect not and I guess it would only apply if I was already on maternity but thought it may be worth asking.

Notice will be contractual with a minimum of 1 week per full year of service.

Is PILON, Pay in Lieu of Notice? If so I believe they normally have you work your notice period, mine is 1 month0 -
