DLA Appeal - time limit

Hello , I have an ongoing DLA appeal of around 16 months. About 6 months ago I rang the Tribunal dealing with it and they said they were only waiting for my doctors notes in order to deal with it. 4 months ago I rang again and they said they still hadn't received the notes so I rang my GP surgery and they said they had no request from the Tribunal. I rang the Tribunal 2 weeks ago and they said they will send a Doctor toexamine me sometime, thanks , John
