If it's going through the courts, why are you asking on here?
The fact your mum is a nervous driver isn't really his fault.

If he's paying his road tax, why shouldn't he park in front of your house?
He's not blocking it -I suggest the problem is your territorial attitude, in aggravating the situation to,this point.
You don't own the piece of road in front of your house-do you know that?
If you've been obnoxious too him because you think you have the right to-I suggest you have caused the problem.

    Wow! That's a bit harsh :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

    Are you the neighbour? :p:p:p

We don't know the history behind this, maybe you are right, but if the neighbour hasn't done the parking thing before the issues and are now, then it does smack of them trying to cause further problems/intimidation.

But as you have correctly identified there isn't much can be done about it :(

I've seen the way neighbours get very territorial. :rotfl:
Parking is the number one cause of neighbour disputes.
I doubt the neighbour just started parking like this for no reason.
It's often not the parking but the attitudes of the people involved and how they speak to the neighbours.
    It's about communication not confrontation.
You can get the council to paint white lines in certain places tp prevent parking in inconvenient places. Have you looked at this?
Do the neighbours have their own drive they can always park on?

    :(:( wow...im sorry i asked...

All i asked was is there something I could do thats all. I have no isse about him parking in front of the house....just how close he is to the driveway.

there was no need for your judgmental attitude.

    thanks anyway

If he does actually park over your drive exit to the extent that you are blocked in, then he has obstructed the highway. I think it's usually a council enforcement matter but you could try the police on 101 first to double check.

The same doesn't apply to blocking your access back in to the drive.

Unless and until he actually physically prevents you getting off the drive, there's nothing else you can do I'm afraid, other than perhaps exploring the white lines issue with the council.

Is this a continuation of your friend's issue from December 2012?
